Let me tell you a story. Once there was a country which prided itself on democracy and the rule of law. No one was ever to be above the law. Leaders were elected who strove to ensure that all were treated equally, with respect, and were allowed basic freedoms to use when things didn’t go according to these fine principles. People therefore had freedom of speech and the right to peacefully protest in public.

But then there came a time when due to a variety of factors, leaders were elected who seemed to violate these fine principles and some horrible things started happening. Masked “law enforcement” agents were given license to wander the streets and forcibly arrest anyone…
